Taylor Polidore Williams is expanding her team as her career continues to gain momentum.
The actress, best known for playing Kimmie on Tyler Perry’s Netflix drama Beauty in Black, has signed with ColorCreative, the management and production company co-founded by Issa Rae, Deniese Davis and Talitha Watkins. The company will represent Williams across all areas.
Williams has become a familiar face to viewers through her role as Kimmie, a Chicago dancer whose life becomes intertwined with Mallory, played by Crystle Stewart, in Beauty in Black. The Netflix series has been renewed through Season 4.
The new deal comes as Williams adds another major television project to her résumé. She is set to appear in a season-long arc on Hulu and Onyx Collective’s Reasonable Doubt.
Beyond Beauty in Black, Williams previously starred opposite Meagan Good in Tyler Perry’s Divorce in the Black. Her television credits also include Snowfall, All American: Homecoming, Genius: Aretha, Black Lightning and The Resident.
Williams will continue to be represented by Innovative Artists and Del Shaw Moonves, alongside her new representation with ColorCreative.
With Beauty in Black continuing through multiple seasons and Reasonable Doubt adding another high-profile credit to her résumé, Williams is entering her next chapter with an expanded team behind her.
