Eric Winter is celebrating a major milestone for The Rookie!
The actor, who plays fan-favorite Sgt. Tim Bradford, took to Instagram to celebrate the production reaching 150 episodes of the hit ABC drama. Sharing behind-the-scenes photos from the set, Winter thanked his The Rookie family and the show’s creative team for the opportunity.
“And this is 150!” Winter captioned the post, thanking creator Alexi Hawley, Nathan Fillion and ABC before giving a special shoutout to the cast and crew.
The milestone comes as the series is currently filming its ninth season. The 150th episode will be part of Season 9, which is scheduled to premiere in January 2027.
Winter’s post also gave fans another glimpse of Tim Bradford in uniform as production continues. Bradford remains one of the show’s most recognizable characters, with Winter having portrayed the LAPD sergeant since the series began. ABC lists him among the returning main cast for the series.
Season 8 ended on a major cliffhanger after Tim proposed to Lucy Chen (Melissa O’Neil), only for the newly engaged couple to be kidnapped. The storyline is expected to carry into Season 9.
With 150 episodes now officially reached in production, fans have even more reason to celebrate the long-running police drama—and Eric Winter is making sure to mark the occasion with his Rookie family.
