Why Didn’t Pauly D Participate in the Jersey Shore Roast? Fans Are Confused

Jersey Shore fans discuss why Pauly D had limited participation in the cast roast.

Jersey Shore fans are asking questions after noticing that DJ Pauly D doesn’t appear to be heavily involved in the upcoming roast.

A recent discussion among fans has sparked curiosity about why Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio seemingly isn’t participating in the event in the same way as some of his fellow cast members.

One fan who said they attended the roast in person shared that Pauly did make an appearance but claimed he wasn’t roasted.

“Literally I was there in person and the only thing he got up and said was he wasn’t roasting anybody because it’s not a part of his ‘Pauly D positivity,’” the fan wrote.

The revelation surprised the original poster, who responded that they felt Pauly “barely got roasted” himself.

Other fans have shared their own theories about the situation. One commenter suggested that Pauly’s star power and public image may have played a role.

“Pauly D is a big star and does not want to be degraded,” one fan wrote. “I believe that they were conditioned that he demanded by his appearance—not that I agree with that, but I believe that’s the situation with him.”

Another fan agreed, writing, “This is exactly what I think too.”

However, the reason Pauly may have had limited participation has not been officially confirmed, and the discussion remains speculation among fans.

Pauly has long been known as one of the more positive and lighthearted personalities in the Jersey Shore Family Vacation cast, often avoiding some of the more intense drama involving his roommates.

Still, fans appear eager to know more about his role in the roast—and whether his limited participation was simply a personal choice or part of a larger arrangement.

What do you think? Should Pauly D have participated more in the roast?
