Aniya Harvey’s mom has a message for the people trying to minimize her daughter’s generosity.
Love Island USA star Aniya Harvey recently gave back to her former school with a $1,000 donation, and while many people celebrated the kind gesture, some haters quickly tried to downplay what she did.
Her mother, Natischa Harvey, wasn’t having it.
Taking to social media, Natischa directly addressed the negativity and made it clear that nobody was going to diminish her daughter’s contribution.
“Great Job, Aniya!”
Natischa opened her message by celebrating her daughter before addressing the commentary surrounding the donation.
“GREAT JOB ANYA!!!” she wrote.
She then explained that the donation consisted of two checks totaling $1,000 because a split was required.
Natischa also pushed back against people criticizing other details surrounding Aniya’s school visit, including comments about the vehicle she used, the school setup and her daughter’s wardrobe.
Her message was simple: she wasn’t going to let anyone dictate how her daughter should have shown up or how much she should have given.
Mom Challenges the Haters to Give Back
Perhaps the biggest clapback came when Natischa challenged anyone who felt Aniya’s donation wasn’t enough to do something about it themselves.
“Now if you’d like to match her $1K donation, I’d be more than happy to provide the link,” she wrote.
And she wasn’t done.
Addressing those who called the gesture “performative,” Natischa pointed to the people who actually experienced the impact of Aniya’s visit.
According to her, the principal, educators, parents and children were “beyond grateful.”

Aniya Is Choosing to Give Back
Aniya has been using the attention she’s received from Love Island USA to give back to a community that means something to her.
Rather than keeping the spotlight solely on herself, she chose to put money toward her former school and its students.
And now, her mother is making it clear that $1,000 given to help others is nothing to be ashamed of or minimized.
If the haters believe more should be done, Natischa has a solution: put your own money where your mouth is.
