Jenni “JWoww” Farley is opening up about one of the most difficult weeks of her life.
The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star shared an emotional message with fans after revealing she had been hospitalized while battling a kidney infection and appendicitis.
JWoww explained that she had been feeling unwell for months, dealing with weight loss, exhaustion, and constantly feeling “off.” She said her body finally reached a breaking point last Friday.
“This past week has probably been one of the hardest weeks of my life,” she wrote.
Despite everything she was going through, JWoww said she was determined to be there for her children as they prepared for their first day back at school.
“I was going to do my daughter’s hair for her first day,” she shared, explaining that she and her family had to pivot when circumstances changed.
JWoww’s husband, Zack Clayton Carpinello, made sure the children arrived at the hospital early so the family could still share the special moment together. While they didn’t get the traditional first-day-of-school photo in front of their home, they created a memory inside her hospital room instead.
“We got hospital bracelets, a hospital room, backpacks, hair supplies and a memory I don’t think any of us will ever forget,” she wrote.
The reality star also used the emotional experience to encourage parents and children to show more kindness to others, reminding everyone that people may be dealing with struggles that aren’t immediately visible.
“You never know what someone is carrying behind closed doors,” JWoww wrote.
JWoww ended her message by expressing gratitude that she was still able to share her children’s first day of school with them.
“Our first-day picture looks a little different this year, but we have one. And right now, I’m incredibly grateful for that.” ❤️
