An era is coming to an end.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino shared an emotional tribute to the Jersey Shore family as the long-running reality TV franchise prepares to say goodbye after 17 years and more than 300 episodes.

“What happened with this cast was something you simply can’t manufacture. It was lightning in a bottle,” Mike wrote in his heartfelt message.

The reality star reflected on the chemistry, chaos, friendships, fights, laughs and unforgettable moments that helped turn a group of strangers into one of reality television’s most recognizable casts.

Mike also thanked his fellow cast members for “giving the world 17 years of memories,” writing that they became a family that millions of viewers felt connected to.

He extended his appreciation to MTV, 495 Productions, the crew and everyone who worked behind the scenes over the years.

“And to the FANS — from day one to today, thank you for riding with us,” Mike wrote. “This legacy belongs to you too.”

The Jersey Shore franchise began in 2009 and grew into a major pop culture phenomenon before later continuing with Jersey Shore Family Vacation. MTV has described the current run as the franchise’s final season.

Ending his tribute on a hopeful note, Mike reminded fans that “every ending has a new beginning.”

“LEGENDS DON’T RETIRE. THEY REROUTE.”

After 17 years, hundreds of episodes and countless iconic moments, the Jersey Shore family is preparing to take its final bow.

“Thank you, @jerseyshore. Forever.” ❤️
