The Rookie fans may soon get to see Jenna Dewan trade in her firefighter uniform for a pair of dancing shoes!
The actress, who plays Bailey Nune on ABC’s hit drama The Rookie, is reportedly joining the cast of Dancing With the Stars Season 35.
Multiple entertainment outlets have reported that Dewan is expected to compete for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy alongside fellow reported contestant Tyler Cameron. However, the full celebrity cast has not yet received its official reveal from ABC.
While some DWTS fans have questioned whether Jenna’s extensive dance background could give her an advantage, there’s no denying that she has plenty of experience on the dance floor.
Before becoming widely known as an actress, Dewan worked as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson and also showcased her dancing abilities in the hit film Step Up.
Season 35 of Dancing With the Stars is scheduled to premiere with a two-night event on September 15 and September 16, 2026. Additional cast announcements are expected soon.
For The Rookie fans, it looks like Bailey Nune may be showing off an entirely different side of herself in the ballroom!
