The Valley star Brittany Cartwright has been granted a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, amid their ongoing divorce.
Brittany Cartwright has been granted a temporary restraining order against her ex, Jax Taylor, following allegations detailed in court documents.

According to reporting from People, Cartwright requested a domestic violence restraining order on August 27, alleging a pattern of abusive behavior dating back years. She said the most recent alleged incident occurred on August 26.
In her declaration, Cartwright said she is in “genuine fear” for her safety and peace of mind. The allegations include claims of emotional, psychological, financial and physical abuse, all of which are allegations that have not been proven in court.
The temporary order requires Taylor to stay at least 100 yards away from Cartwright, according to reports. A hearing is scheduled for September 17, when the court is expected to further address the matter.
Taylor has since responded to the allegations, saying he made mistakes in the past that he regrets while also disputing certain claims. He said he intends to respect the court’s orders and address the matter through the legal process.
Cartwright and Taylor share a 5-year-old son, Cruz. The former couple separated in 2024 and have continued navigating their divorce and co-parenting arrangements.
This remains an ongoing legal matter.
