The wait for more Jax Stewart is almost over. Hulu’s legal drama Reasonable Doubt will return for its highly anticipated fourth season on October 6, 2026, with three episodes premiering on the same day. Following the premiere, new episodes will be released every Tuesday.
Created by Raamla Mohamed, Reasonable Doubt follows Jax Stewart, a fearless Los Angeles criminal defense attorney whose complicated personal life often becomes just as intense as the cases she takes on. Emayatzy Corinealdi returns as Jax for the fourth season.
What to Expect in Season 4
Season 4 picks up with Jax and her family dealing with the aftermath of a brutal attack that has left their lives—and the newly established Stewart Firm—shaken.
According to Hulu, Jax’s most loyal client becomes the center of a spiraling media disaster, putting the future of her firm in serious jeopardy. As Jax and those around her attempt to rebuild, they will have to determine whether moving forward too quickly could cost them everything.
The new season will also introduce several new faces while bringing back familiar ones.
New and Returning Cast
The Season 4 cast includes series regulars Emayatzy Corinealdi, McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo and Angela Grovey, alongside newly announced series regulars Durrell “Tank” Babbs and Meagan Good.
Recurring guest stars include Morris Chestnut, Joseph Sikora and Brandee Evans, while La La Anthony, Rutina Wesley, Taylor Polidore Williams, DeVaughn Nixon and Alexxis Lemire are joining the season in recurring roles.
Anthony will play Melina Cropper, Eric’s first wife, while Williams portrays Brooke Cropper, Eric’s second wife. Wesley will appear as entertainment journalist Desiree Grant, and Nixon will play Tyger Cropper, Eric’s younger brother and an A&R manager.
With Jax facing another high-pressure case while attempting to keep her personal and professional worlds from falling apart, Season 4 looks set to deliver another round of courtroom drama, complicated relationships and unexpected twists.
