Nurys Mateo is speaking candidly about her experience with Josh Goldstein during The Challenge 42, and it sounds like there was never much interest on her end.
In a recent interview, Nurys explained that she was never interested in Josh romantically because of what she perceived about his character. According to the reality star, she was confused by the idea that Josh believed he had a chance with her in the first place.
Nurys also alleged that Josh made a disrespectful comment about Black women during a conversation between the two.
The comment reportedly left an impression on Nurys, and she said she wasn’t necessarily surprised when she later heard allegations that Josh had made additional racist comments as the season progressed.
Those alleged comments reportedly became a bigger issue within the Challenge house and ultimately contributed to Josh allegedly being removed from the game.
Nurys’ comments add another layer to the drama surrounding Josh’s time on the show. While viewers have watched Josh compete on The Challenge franchise multiple times, Nurys’ perspective suggests that some of the issues surrounding his behavior may have gone far beyond typical reality-TV arguments.
And honestly, for someone who has appeared on reality television so many times, Nurys’ comments raise a bigger question: When is Josh going to start learning from these situations?
