Faith Martin is opening up about her dating life, recent breakup and decision to embrace aging naturally.
The Golden Bachelor Season 1 fan favorite recently appeared on the official Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour podcast, where she revealed that she is no longer in a romantic relationship.
Faith explained that she had been seeing a man who initially made it seem like they shared many of the same interests. When they met, she said they “totally hit it off,” but she eventually discovered that he wasn’t actually interested in many of the activities he had claimed to enjoy.
Faith also said she was surprised to learn that the man was drinking and using marijuana on a daily basis. She explained that this was particularly concerning to her because of her late ex-husband’s struggles with alcoholism.
“He was not supposedly a big drinker,” Faith said during the podcast. “But about the second or third time I had to drive home, and after he’s passed out a couple of times and he was doing weed every day and drinking every day, I was just like, ‘I thought we had talked about [this].’” (Bachelornation)
Faith said the experience ultimately left her feeling “bamboozled” because the man had presented himself as someone who shared her interests and lifestyle.
Faith Martin opens up about breast reduction
During the interview, Faith also discussed recently undergoing a breast reduction.
The reality star explained that she had been struggling with the weight of her breasts and felt that the procedure helped her breathe better. She said she ultimately decided to have the surgery for herself and is happy with the results. (Bachelornation)
Faith also explained why she has stopped wearing mascara and getting Botox.
“I don’t really care what anybody thinks. I just wanted to do what I felt was good,” she said. “I’m turning 64 in a few days and I’m like, ‘Yeah, I think it’s okay for me to look 64.’ I don’t care. I’m not really dating anymore.” (Bachelornation)
Faith turned 64 on August 10.
