The Golden Bachelor star Mel Owens is celebrating another major milestone in his family as his youngest son, Andre, heads off to college.

Owens recently shared a glimpse of father-son time at Walmart in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where he appeared to be helping Andre get settled for this next chapter. In the photo, the former NFL player smiled for the camera while shopping with his son.

“Upping my Walmart Game in Stillwater with my youngest son,” Owens captioned the post, adding hashtags for Oklahoma State University, Walmart and The Golden Bachelor.

Andre is a talented baseball player and has committed to Oklahoma State University, continuing the family’s strong connection to athletics. His older brother, Lucas, is also a baseball player and has pursued college baseball.

For Mel, sending Andre off to college marks another emotional transition. The reality star has frequently spoken about how important his two sons are to him and how involved he has been in their lives, including coaching them and supporting their athletic careers.

Andre has also played a special role in his father’s Golden Bachelor journey. Mel previously revealed that Andre encouraged him to consider appearing on the franchise after joking that his dad should become the Bachelor.

Now, as Andre begins his college journey in Stillwater, fans are getting to see another side of Mel Owens—not just as the star of The Golden Bachelor, but as a proud dad watching his youngest son grow up and pursue his dreams.

Congratulations to Andre on this exciting new chapter! 🧡⚾️
