Jersey Shore Stars Snooki and JWoww Reveal They Get Fan Mail From Prison

Jersey Shore stars Snooki and JWoww reveal they receive fan mail from prison inmates.

Jersey Shore stars Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley are used to getting plenty of attention from fans, but some of the letters they receive come from an unexpected place: prison.

While speaking with The New York Post ahead of the ninth and final season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Snooki revealed that she regularly receives letters from inmates.

“I get a lot of jail letters,” Snooki, 38, said.

The reality star explained that she actually reads the letters and even shows them to her husband.

JWoww, meanwhile, has taken a very different approach to the unusual fan mail. She said she keeps the letters in a file—just in case some of the people who sent them are eventually released.

“I have a file just in case they get out,” JWoww, 41, explained.

She then revealed why she takes the letters particularly seriously.

“It’s not like they went away for taking a car,” she said, noting that some of the writers are incarcerated for extremely serious crimes. She specifically referenced people convicted of quadruple homicide and murder, including inmates who have been behind bars since the 1970s. (New York Post)

The revelation is just one of several wild fan stories shared by the Jersey Shore cast.

Angelina Pivarnick also revealed that fans have sent her deeply personal messages, including people who told her that watching her helped them through extremely difficult moments. Meanwhile, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino said fans regularly approach him to tell him how inspired they are by his personal transformation. (New York Post)

The cast has also received plenty of unusual requests from fans. JWoww said she gets invited to weddings, while Snooki added that bridal showers are another common request.

Pauly D even recalled a fan asking him to help with a marriage proposal before one of his DJ sets, while Vinny Guadagnino said fans have asked him to participate in gender-reveal celebrations. (AOL)

After years in the spotlight, the Jersey Shore cast has certainly heard some unusual stories from their supporters. But Snooki and JWoww receiving letters from prison inmates may be one of the more unexpected examples of just how far the show’s fan base reaches.

As Jersey Shore: Family Vacation enters its ninth and final season, the cast continues to reflect on the bizarre, funny and sometimes surprising ways viewers have connected with them over the years. (New York Post)
