Chris “CT” Tamburello is remembering his The Challenge co-star Tyler Duckworth following the reality star’s death at 44.
CT shared a tribute video dedicated to Tyler, giving fans another look at the unforgettable personality he brought to the franchise. The tribute comes as former castmates and longtime friends continue to mourn Tyler and celebrate his life.
One especially touching message in the post described just how much Tyler could brighten a room.
“It was hard not to smile when Tyler was around,” the tribute read, describing him as sharp, intuitive and far more understanding than people gave him credit for.
The message also remembered Tyler as the kind of person who would say what everyone else was thinking—and somehow make everyone laugh about it.
“And if you knew him like some of us…you learned to smile quick,” the tribute continued.
Tyler was also described as the epitome of “Bring It To Your Front Door,” a fitting description for someone who was never afraid to speak his mind.
The tribute went on to highlight another side of Tyler that fans may have seen throughout his time on The Challenge.
“Tyler was the only person that never seemed afraid of anything,” the message said.
His famous smile was also remembered as something that could make people’s worries feel smaller. According to the tribute, Tyler had a way of making people feel like everything was going to be just fine.

Tyler became a familiar face to The Challenge audience after making his reality television debut on The Real World: Key West in 2006. He competed on six seasons of The Challenge and won both Cutthroat and Rivals. He later returned for All Stars 2 and All Stars 3. (People.com)
