BET & Tyler Perry has a new show on the way and it stars a very familiar face!
A new series titled “Caught Up” will debut on BET+ on August 24th and it will star “Sistas” & “Zatima” Star Jasmin Brown.
In the “Sistas” franchise, Jasmin portrays Doja but in “Caught Up”, she will portray Jazzy!
The four-episode original series coming to the platform Aug. 24 also sees Brown as a creator and executive producer with Tyler Perry also on as executive producer. The series is produced through Tyler Perry Studios.
The show will have a familiar location that “Sistas” fans will notice. Jazzy will be staying in Fatima’s old apartment:

The series follows a young woman who thinks she’s found the love of her life, only find out he’s been cheating. It sends her into thinking about what it means to find love and the potential conessions you might make to keep it.

“The new dramedy series, “Caught Up,” focuses on a beautiful, spicy, ambitious young lady named Jazzy who, like most women in their twenties, wants it all – the career, the home, the husband. Growing up, having witnessed her parents’ playful and loving marriage, she always thought she would never settle for less than she deserved. Enter Wayne. Handsome, successful, thoughtful, and spontaneous, he sweeps Jazzy off her feet almost instantly. But after spending a year building their perfect partnership, she finds out that Wayne has been unfaithful…to his longtime girlfriend-turned-fiancée. Navigating the expectations of her traditional Caribbean parents, her only confidant is her untraditional jailbird cousin, Toya. Now, Jazzy has to decide: “Is sharing really settling, if you’ve found the love of your life?”
