
BET’s “Sistas” Season 6 is gearing up to hit our screens at the end of the month and we just know this is going to be a very impactful season!!
The first promo was released a while ago and it left the fans watching more.
The season will feature tons of guest stars and new recurring characters and the legendary Jason Weaver is set to portray a brand new “Sistas” character!
Jason Michael Weaver is an actor and singer, perhaps most famous for his role as a young Michael Jackson in the Emmy Award-winning 1992 miniseries The Jacksons: An American Dream.

One of Weaver’s earliest acting roles was on Oprah Winfrey’s 1990 television series Brewster Place. You might remember him from Smart Guy (1997–1999).
The actor also appeared in Drumline with Nick Cannon, followed by a role in the The Ladykillers in 2004. In 2006, Weaver was featured in a supporting role in the film ATL starring rappers T.I. and Big Boi from OutKast. In addition to acting, Weaver is also a recording artist. He provided the vocals for the singing voice for the cub Simba in the 1994 film The Lion King
Back in action and ready for more legendary roles, Weaver was tapped to portray the role of Brian on “Sistas” Season 6!

Sistas follows a group of single Black females as they navigate their “complicated love life,” careers and friendship through the ups and downs of living in a modern world of social media and unrealistic relationship goals. The women must navigate this new-age dating scene as they continue to search for love in their 30’s.
Sistas ensemble cast includes KJ Smith, Mignon, Ebony Obsidian, Novi Brown, Crystal Renee’ Hayslett, DeVale Ellis, Chido Nwokocha, Anthony Dalton II, Brian Jordan Jr., Kevin A. Walton, and Trinity Whiteside.
