CBS’s “Blue Bloods” Season 13 fans has a few things to get off their chest about Erin and Anthony’s friendship!
Erin and Anthony are played by Bridget Moynahan and Steve Schirripa. The two are like partners in crime on the show.
While speaking with Looper, Schirripa spoke on the fans a shipping the two and shutting down the idea of them dating.
He shared:
“First of all, Erin is out of his league. Second, it would ruin the whole chemistry and relationship. What are they going to do? Go out on dates? Move in together? Then what’s going to happen? I’ll tell you what’ll happen. They won’t work together anymore, and then we lose the whole thing. So I don’t see it ever happening, and I don’t think it should. Storyline-wise, that’s not a great idea.”
We agree 100% with him! The show is going just fine with the two as friends only.
Fans shared on Facebook:
“I love watching Erin and Anthony together. They have such a great relationship…so nice and easy until they don’t! It seems so natural for them to be so comfortable with each other. Let’s keep it that way! Jack is still in the picture for Erin. You can feel it every time they are together. The love is still there but Erin isn’t sure she can trust him, even though she’d like too! It’s exciting to see what’s going to happen!” – Janet Blackwell
“No. I Love them as Friends! They work so well together on the show & putting them together as a couple might ruin that! Do Unset a Good thing!” – Lonnie Jans
“Totally agree. Love Erin and Anthony as work partners and close friends. Romantic moments would ruin their whole chemistry as work partners. They both want the best for one another and they do look out for one another. I live things the way they are. JMO.” – Linda Goldstein
“He might be wonderful with her. He has substance in his character.” – Beth Siegel
“I agree with him. It would change everything. I had a best bud I worked with for at least 12 years. We talked about things we never talked about to anyone….away from work. It would have ruined our relationship. I even found him a lady friend, of course it cut into of our doing things together but we still stayed close. Not every man/woman things have to turn to romance.” – Sue Gembrini
