“Sistas” Spin-Off “Zatima” has quickly become one of the biggest shows streaming now on BET+ and surprisingly hit the #1 spot on Amazon Prime as well even though the show isn’t promoted as an Prime series!

When we found out that Crystal Renee Hayslett and Devale Ellis was going to be headlining their own show, we knew the show was going to be a huge success.

Fatima and Zac are undoubtedly the most loved characters on “Sistas” and the fans just love their story and relationship.

Crystal Renee Hayslett recently spoke with Yahoo about the transition into being a lead and how well she and Devale work together.

She shared;

“I think having to step into the leadership role and setting the tone every single day, whether you’re exhausted or not, you have to come in with a smile on your face, good energy, because our energy spreads, with good or bad, it’s going to spread,” she explained. “So we make a very intentional decision to come in every single day, to be excited, to be there and grateful. Moving with a heart of gratitude. And it’s great you see it like the energy on set is always amazing. Stepping into that leadership role is definitely a big adjustment. The workload was a big adjustment because we’re the leaders of the show now. But I think Devale and I definitely handle it well. And any time I get frustrated, I can always call him.”

We love it! The two deserves this and we’re destined for this. We can’t wait to see what the two have up their sleeves for Season 2 because we know it’s coming and we’re ready!
