Ricco Ross may play one of the most complicated characters on Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black, but when it came to filming intimate scenes, the actor says his real-life marriage had to be considered too.
Ross, who plays Horace Bellarie, previously opened up about having a conversation with his wife before taking on the role. He explained that his wife was initially more uncomfortable with the idea of seeing him portray certain aspects of Horace than he was.
According to Ross, the conversation wasn’t an argument. Instead, they talked about what she was comfortable with and what crossed a boundary for their marriage.
Those discussions eventually influenced the limits written into his contract.
That revelation gives fans another interesting behind-the-scenes look at what can happen before actors step onto a television set.
