Love came full circle for Black-ish star Marcus Scribner.
The actor has officially married his longtime love, Gracie Globerman, after a relationship that began with a chance encounter in middle school. The couple’s heartwarming love story has captured fans’ attention after details about their journey resurfaced online.
According to the couple, they first met in the sixth grade at Emerson Middle School in Los Angeles. Marcus remembered spotting Gracie during lunch and immediately wondering who she was. Although he admitted he was too nervous to ask her out at the time, the two became good friends.
Like many childhood friendships, they eventually lost touch during much of high school. However, fate had other plans.
The pair reconnected during their senior year at a mentoring event for their former middle school, and Marcus says he instantly knew their story wasn’t over.
“I saw her there and knew it was fate.”
Their relationship continued to grow over the years, leading Marcus to propose in August 2025. Now, the couple has officially tied the knot, marking the beginning of a new chapter together.
