Tyler Perry’s Sistas is showing no signs of slowing down.
BET has announced that the hit drama’s milestone Season 10 premiere drew 1 million total viewers, based on combined premiere and encore impressions, making it one of the network’s strongest-performing scripted launches of the year.
The impressive debut also gave BET its strongest performance in nearly six months, while posting double-digit growth compared to the Season 9 premiere. The latest season opener also outperformed the previous season’s launch, highlighting the continued momentum behind Tyler Perry’s long-running series.
On premiere day, Tyler Perry’s Sistas ranked as the No. 1 cable telecast—excluding sports and news—among Black adults ages 18–49 and Black viewers ages 2 and older, reinforcing the show’s popularity with its core audience.
The success extended beyond television. Sistas also became the No. 1 most social drama on its premiere day, fueled by a major increase in video views and digital engagement compared to the previous season.
Season 10 welcomes back fan favorites KJ Smith, Mignon, Crystal Renee Hayslett, Angela Beyincé, Devale Ellis, Brian Jordan Jr., Chris Warren, and Monti Washington. Joining the cast as new series regulars this season are Jordan Coleman and Tunde Oyeneyin.
