Netflix has officially announced the return of Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black, confirming that Season 3 will premiere on August 27, 2026. The announcement arrives months after the dramatic second-season finale and just days after Netflix surprised fans by renewing the series for a fourth season before Season 3 even premieres.
The upcoming season picks up with Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) firmly positioned within the powerful Bellarie empire, setting the stage for even more betrayals, shifting alliances, and high-stakes power struggles. First-look images released by Netflix tease Kimmie and Mallory working together while new threats continue to emerge around the family’s business and personal lives.
Season 3 was originally expected to conclude the series after Netflix renewed it as a final season in late 2025. However, the streamer recently reversed course and ordered Season 4, allowing Tyler Perry to continue telling the Bellarie family’s story beyond the upcoming episodes.
