
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is continuing to turn his personal journey into a mission to help others.
The Jersey Shore star recently celebrated the grand opening of Archangel Centers in Matthews, North Carolina, marking the addiction treatment organization’s first location in the state and its second nationwide.
Sorrentino joined staff members, local leaders, and supporters during the opening ceremony, emphasizing the importance of giving individuals struggling with addiction an opportunity to rebuild their lives.
“Every person deserves compassion, dignity, and the chance to write a new chapter,” Sorrentino said during the event.



Best known for his breakout role on MTV’s Jersey Shore and Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Sorrentino has been open about his own recovery journey for years. Since achieving sobriety, he has frequently used his platform to advocate for addiction awareness, mental health, and second chances.
The opening of Archangel Centers represents another step in those efforts, expanding access to addiction treatment services in the Charlotte area.

Over the past several years, Sorrentino has transformed his public image from reality television’s “The Situation” into an advocate for recovery, inspiring many fans through his honesty about overcoming addiction and rebuilding his life.
With the launch of the new facility, Sorrentino hopes to continue encouraging those battling substance use disorders to seek help and begin their own path toward recovery.
