Marvel Studios has officially unveiled the next chapter in the Black Panther saga.
During its Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel confirmed that David Jonsson has been cast as the adult T’Challa, the son of the late King T’Challa, in Black Panther 3. The highly anticipated film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 15, 2028. (Reuters)
David Jonsson Enters the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Jonsson, who has earned praise for his performances in Alien: Romulus, Industry, and The Long Walk, is taking on one of the MCU’s most significant new roles.
His character was first introduced as a young child during the emotional ending of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In that film, Nakia revealed that she and King T’Challa had a son named Toussaint, whose Wakandan name is also T’Challa. Marvel also confirmed that Ryan Coogler will once again write and direct the third installment of the franchise.
