Veteran The Challenge star Derrick Kosinski isn’t letting criticism of one of his toughest eliminations go unanswered.
After fellow champion Jordan Wiseley shared his thoughts on Derrick’s marathon elimination against Joss Mooney, Derrick took to Instagram with a lengthy response, defending both his performance and Joss while calling out Jordan for what he saw as a lack of respect.
Jordan Wiseley Called the Elimination “Long and Crappy”
The discussion began after a fan resurfaced Jordan Wiseley’s opinion about Derrick and Joss’ legendary elimination.
Jordan wrote:
“Hot take: I think that Joss and Derrick’s elimination was just long and crappy because they’re both bad at the game. They both just fell to their knees and drug each other out of bounds for 90 mins. One of the hardest things for me to watch so far.”
The comments quickly reignited debate among Challenge fans, many of whom still consider the elimination one of the greatest in the franchise’s history.

Derrick Kosinski Responds
Derrick addressed Jordan directly in a lengthy Instagram post.
He first praised Jordan’s own elimination victory over Shane, saying he thought Jordan performed “absolutely incredible” that night and deserved more recognition.
However, Derrick suggested Jordan may still be frustrated that his own performance didn’t receive as much attention because Derrick and Joss’ elimination overshadowed it.
He then made his biggest statement:
“Me & Joss would’ve beat the living dog shit out of him in that game—that night, today & tomorrow.”
Derrick also criticized Jordan for not giving credit where he believes it’s due, writing that it’s “sad to see a Champion like him not be able to give the credit where credit is due.”
He ended the post by thanking fans who supported him.
Fans Are Divided
The exchange has sparked plenty of discussion online.
Some fans agreed with Jordan, arguing the elimination became more of an endurance battle than a showcase of skill.
Others defended Derrick and Joss, pointing out that lasting nearly 90 minutes in one of the most physically demanding eliminations in Challenge history is exactly what made it memorable.
Years later, the elimination remains one of the franchise’s most talked-about moments.
Could This Rivalry Continue?
Jordan and Derrick are two of the most respected competitors in The Challenge history, with multiple championships and decades of experience between them.
While their disagreement is centered on an older elimination, the back-and-forth has reminded fans that competitive rivalries don’t disappear once filming ends.
Whether Jordan responds again remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: fans are once again debating one of the most iconic eliminations ever shown on The Challenge.
