Update (2026): Ben Rosenbaum and Erin Krakow Are Now Married and Parents

Since this story was first published, Ben Rosenbaum and Erin Krakow have reached several major milestones in their relationship, becoming one of Hallmark’s most beloved real-life couples.

After confirming their romance in 2024, the When Calls the Heart co-stars quietly tied the knot in June 2025. Just months later, they announced they were expecting their first child together, delighting Hearties around the world.

In June 2026, the couple revealed even more exciting news—they had welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in early April. Sharing the announcement with People, Erin and Ben described their daughter as “the greatest gift” and said becoming parents has strengthened their relationship even more. They admitted life has become a little more exhausting, joking that Erin, who previously didn’t drink coffee, has officially become a coffee drinker thanks to the sleepless nights of parenthood.

The couple also shared that raising their daughter alongside fellow When Calls the Heart cast members who recently became parents has made the experience even more special. Erin and Ben revealed they regularly exchange photos, FaceTime with their co-stars, and are excited for all of their children to spend time together when filming resumes.

Their love story has become one of Hallmark’s favorite real-life romances. Although their characters don’t share a romantic storyline on When Calls the Heart, fans have loved watching their off-screen relationship blossom from co-stars to husband and wife and now proud parents.

Other central characters include Rosemary Coulter (Pascale Hutton), Elizabeth’s best friend, once described as “part Broadway showgirl, part Frontier woman, who is also the editor of the town’s newspaper The Valley Voice and a new mother with her husband, the upstanding businessman Leland Coulter (Kavan Smith). Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) has a gruff exterior but cares about the community and his godson Little Jack. Mountie Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) protects the town and is also the adoptive father to his teenaged niece, Allie (Jaeda Lily Miller). Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally), owns the town saloon and is a leader in the community with grand aspirations. Embracing love again after the death of her husband and taking care of her son, Elizabeth continues to teach the children of Hope Valley all while trying to navigate the challenges in her life.
