When calls the heart Chris

Hallmark’s “When Calls The Heart” Season 10 just ended and fans weren’t too happy with the ending for Lucas and Elizabeth!

While it was confirmed that Chris McNally will return to the show for the 11th season, fans are still sending their love to Chris and his character Lucas.

View their kind words below:

“Lucas’ storyline was portrayed as tragic. That’s why it’s so confusing.
He was blatantly heartbroken, blatantly scared, and blatantly mistreated.
Are they really pretending otherwise?
I don’t understand. #hearties #lucabeth #WhenCallsTheHeart #WCTH”

“A wave of sadness just came over me from thinking about the beautiful man that L is. I don’t want S10 to tarnish the joy he has given me, & I want to cherish the bit of beauty he’s brought into my life. So just a quick shout out for our guy. No sadness♥️ hearties #lucabeth”

“Hes very quicly becomming the most popular lead on Hallmark Channel!
His recent movie topped the ratings, and his fan group has over 10,000 members! Go @ChrisMcNally_ ! #mcnallies #lucabeth #Hallmarkies”

“This is my 3rd tweet harping on this, but the difference is so clear, I can’t take it.
Knowing that N has feelings for E, L shows concern & care for him.
N knowing L & E are engaged, shows disrespect & disregard, slinking his way between them. lucabethforever #lucabeth #hearties”

Inspired by Janette Oke’s bestselling book series about the Canadian West, “When Calls the Heart” follows the story of a young schoolteacher and single mother, Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow), in the quaint town of Hope Valley. When her husband is suddenly killed on duty, she must find the courage and strength to move forward. With the help and guidance of the townspeople and her friends, she adjusts to the ever-changing times and the people that enter her life.

Other central characters include Rosemary Coulter (Pascale Hutton), Elizabeth’s best friend, the town’s loveable busybody once described as “part Broadway showgirl, part Frontier woman,” and her patient husband, the upstanding businessman Leland Coulter (Kavan Smith). Judge Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) works hard to protect the town and to cement his position as Hope Valley’s ultimate authority. Fairly new to the community are Mountie Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) and saloon owner Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally), who both vie for the attention of Elizabeth. With the added pressure on deciding between her suitors, writing a novel and taking care of her son, Elizabeth continues to teach the children of Hope Valley all while trying to navigate the challenges in her life.
