BET’s “Sistas” & “Zatima” Star Devale Ellis is known for putting his life on the forefront and sharing the ups and down with fans!

Devale is married to the beautiful Khadeen and they’ve been together for over 20 years but with a long relationship like that, it’s likely to run into a few bumps in the road down the line.

An almost one year old interview where Devale and Khadeen talks about their rough patch is currently going viral and the fans are talking all across social media.

“Tyler Perry’s Zatima” follows popular “Sistas” characters Zac (Devale Ellis) and Fatima (Crystal Renee Hayslett) as they navigate the ups and downs of their relationship. DEVALE ELLIS as “Zac”: A working-class, blue-collar guy that works at the airport. He has high hopes and dreams but seems to feel unworthy of the women he dates. As Karen’s boyfriend of three years, he has confidence and insecurity issues. In search for his manhood, he makes some questionable decisions

CRYSTAL RENEE HAYSLETT as “Fatima”: Fatima is a beautiful young woman who works as a paralegal at a powerful, white law firm. Fatima has been hurt and keeps her heart guarded.

CAMERON FILLER as “Nathan”: Nathan is married to Lori who keeps him in check at every turn and holds him accountable for his responsibilities.

REMINGTON HOFFMAN as “Bryce”: Bryce is a relatively new friend of Zac’s who works with Gary and is helping Zac with his stock investments. He has stepped in and become a confidant and somewhat of a rescuer to Zac. Bryce is also dating Angela, who happens to be Fatima’s best friend.

NZINGA IMANI as “Angela”: Angela is Fatima’s best female friend who is dating Bryce. Angela has no idea that Bryce’s friend Zac is the man who is moving in with Fatima — but soon realizes that she’s heard all about the shady corners of Zac’s life from Bryce.

RECURRING CAST:

JASMIN BROWN as “Deja”: Deja is Devale’s tenant who is a nail technician by day and stripper by night.

GUYVIAUD JOSEPH as “Tony”: Tony is Zac’s friend who despises love and relationships. Tony comes down hard on Zac for moving in with Fatima and tries to convince Zac that he should enjoy the freedom of finally having money and the single life.

DANIELLE LAROACH as “Belinda”: Belinda is Fatima’s “tell like it is” friend who adds a whole new layer of challenges to Zac and Fatima’s relationship.

MARQUITA GOINGS as “Valerie”: Valerie is a successful realtor who is wowed by the work that Zac has done on his house. When she learns he’s intending to flip properties, she offers to put together a list for him and assist him with her expertise.

“Sistas” follows a group of single Black females navigating their “complicated love life,” careers, and friendship through the ups and downs of living in a modern world of social media and unrealistic relationship goals. Tyler Perry takes viewers on an exhilarating ride of emotions and gut-busting predicaments that will test the ladies’ long-standing friendship. This band of women, intertwined with their newfound relationships, must navigate this new-age dating scene as they continue to search for love in their 30s. “Tyler Perry’s Sistas” airs Wednesdays at 9 PM ET/PT on BET and BET Her.

In Season four, Andi played by KJ Smith finally focuses on her own wants and needs when it comes to her personal life. While continuing to be a top-notch lawyer, Andi tests the waters with the possibility of a new relationship on the horizon. Gary played by Chido Nwokocha, however, goes above and beyond in an attempt to get Andi to commit to him, and only him.

Danni played by Mignon, opens the season showing Preston how she really feels about their relationship now that El Fuego is in the picture. Eventually, things get complicated when Preston played by Trinity Whiteside, begins exhibiting uncharacteristic like behavior to win Danni’s attention.

Karen played by Ebony Obsidian, finds herself consumed with Zac’s personal life this season. Karen’s emotions overtake her as she tries to reconcile her feelings between Zac played by DeVale Ellis, and Aaron played by Kevin A. Walton.

Sabrina played by Novi Brown, is the listening ear to her girlfriends and their drama, but she makes sure she doesn’t forget about Maurice played by Brian Jordan Jr. While still dating Calvin played by Anthony Dalton II, Sabrina embarks on a new journey that could lead to newfound love. 

Fatima played by Crystal Renee’ Hayslett, basks in her love for Zac and makes it known to anyone who questions their relationship. Although Fatima finds herself facing new challenges in her relationship with Zac, her feet are firmly planted. Now that things are looking up for Zac, he and Fatima shift their focus to themselves and their future together.
