BET’s “Sistas” & “Zatima” Star Devale Ellis recently attended a LL Cool J concert with his wife Khadeen and a few other friends!!
The Star took to Instagram story to share a few stories vibing to the show and we’re so happy that everyone had fun!
During one of his stories, Devale shared that he would love to play LL Cool J in a biopic and the photo he shared has us convinced!
He shared;
Earlier this year, LL Shared a tweet hinting that he should do a biopic;
LL Cool J, whose real name is James Todd Smith, has had a long and prolific career, signing with Def Jam Recordings in 1984 and producing 13 albums which spawned hits like “The Boomin’ System”, “Rock the Bells” and “Mama Said Knock You Out. He later went into a successful acting career, starring in movies like Last Holiday and Slow Burn and taking on the role of Special Agent Sam Hanna in NCIS: Los Angeles. He was a part of the NCIS triple crossover episode event earlier this month with NCIS, NCIS: Hawai’i and NCIS: Los Angeles. Per People.

Sistas follows a group of single Black females as they navigate their “complicated love life,” careers and friendship through the ups and downs of living in a modern world of social media and unrealistic relationship goals. The women must navigate this new-age dating scene as they continue to search for love in their 30’s.
Sistas ensemble cast includes KJ Smith, Mignon, Ebony Obsidian, Novi Brown, Crystal Renee’ Hayslett, DeVale Ellis, Chido Nwokocha, Anthony Dalton II, Brian Jordan Jr., Kevin A. Walton, and Trinity Whiteside.
