“Survivor” Season 45 Debuts On September 27th

Survivor season 45

CBS’s “Survivor” Season 45 is gearing up to hit our screens this fall and we cannot wait until the season airs!

The official premiere date was just announced.

“Survivor” shared on Twitter:

“Grab your torches and get ready to get back to the greatest game there ever was!🔥 #Survivor: 45 is coming your way Wednesday, September 27th on @CBS!🤩”

The season will debut (with 90-minute episodes!) in Fall 2023 on CBS.

The network will officially announce the identities of the 18 cast members at a future date. As has been reported, Bruce Perreault will return to the island after being medically evacuated during the first episode of “Survivor 44” due to a head injury. The other 17 contestants are brand new to the show. As usual, they all come from diverse backgrounds and walks of life, in adherence to the network’s 50% diversity mandate. This was put into effect in 2020 and ensures that half of its reality TV casts must be Black, Indigenous or People of Color (BIPOC). Per Yahoo!

The CBS Original groundbreaking reality television show continues to evolve when these 18 new players face one of the most intense versions of SURVIVOR ever. This season continues to define a bold new era of the series with the return of risky advantages, game-changing twists and a relentless pace that will push these castaways to their limits. Values will be tested and the players’ motivations highlighted when the fierce competition unfolds on the beautiful islands of Fiji. The unpredictable situations will test even the strongest competitor, as food is scarce, rewards and supplies are minimal, and the mental and physical challenges force players to make impossible decisions and adjust their strategies, while still navigating the complex social game. The individuals competing are from diverse backgrounds and bring a fresh perspective to this new era of the game, but the goal remains the same: to outwit, outplay and outlast, and in the end, only one will remain to claim the title of Sole Survivor and win the $1 million prize. The show is hosted by Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst.

The 45th season kicks off with a 90-minute premiere Wednesday, September 27 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
