MTV’s “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” is back for new episodes and fans are excited to have OG Sammi Sweetheart back on the show!
The premiere episode was titled “Remember Me”
Plot:
“Since the Jersey Shore squad started taking family vacations, there have been 14 trips and a lifetime of memories; but throughout their adventures, they have always felt like something was missing; now that’s all about to change.”
The episode dominated in ratings!
“The second half of Season 6 premiered on August 3 with a 0.6 rating among adults 18-49, according to live+same-day Nielsen data. That helped boost MTV’s Thursday primetime rating to a 0.3, which is up 306% over the 0.1 average rating from the previous four weeks.
In fact, the episode drove MTV’s highest Thursday primetime share in more than two years as well as the best season premiere for Jersey Shore Family Vacation in more than four years. The premiere episode’s share was up 21% vs. the last season premiere, according to Paramount Global.” Per Deadline

After a shocking first half of the season, everyone’s favorite “Shore” family is back to heat things up and for the first time in 11 years, original cast member Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ reunites with her former housemates. From the ultimate kick off in Pennsylvania where DJ Pauly D and Vinny orchestrate an epic prank that almost scars the “meatballs” permanently to Deena taking family trips to the next level at Margaritaville, the “Shore” family continues to make every moment one to remember.
And in true “Shore” fashion, what’s a family trip without a little (or a lot) of drama? Tensions between Angelina and Jenni from earlier this season continue, while a shocking revelation about Angelina’s father influences Mike to investigate. Plus, things are bound to get a little messy when Mike reveals he’s been talking to Sammi’s infamous ex.
