Peacock’s “Love Island USA” is currently airing it’s 5th season and we were beyond excited to see what the streamer would come up with after the interesting season that was Season 4!
Season 5 is currently nearing it’s 3rd week and we can honestly say that this is possibly the worst season of the USA version to date. We’re not enjoying much. The episodes are boring and there doesn’t seem to be a STAR of the season yet.
The casting for this season is tragically underwhelming and everyone seems like they’re just in it for fame. We know this is usually the case for most seasons but this cast is showing it way too much!
We’re enjoying a few cast members but not even the ones we like can save the mess that we’re enduring weekly. The season is so bad that we discontinued our reviews for the first time ever! Season 5 could really use an Ekin Su or even a Zeta at a time like this.
Maybe the current strike is hurting the show? We’ve read that many crew members that were apart of the 4th season are not present for the 5th season and that could play a major part in the terrible casting this season.
Update: This season is so terrible that the men on the show (Keenan/Mike) are disrespecting the host Sarah Hyland!
Time to wrap this season up and forget it ever happened and leave majority of this cast where they started, AT HOME!

Set in Fiji, Season 5 of the Peacock Original LOVE ISLAND USA will feature a new group of sexy singles on a search for love in a beautiful villa. Throughout their stay in a tropical oasis, Islanders will couple up to face brand new heart-racing challenges and bigger twists and turns than ever before. Temptations will rise and drama will ensue as new “bombshells” arrive throughout the season, forcing Islanders to decide if they want to remain with their current partners or recouple with someone new. Islanders will also be at the mercy of viewers at home who will vote to determine who gets another shot at love and who leaves the villa heartbroken and empty-handed. Actress Sarah Hyland (Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin) will return to host alongside UK comedian Iain Stirling who reprises his role as narrator. Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix will make her LOVE ISLAND USA debut by surprising Islanders with a special guest appearance during the series’ second week.
Launch Date: July 18, 2023 with new episodes streaming every day at 6pm PT/9pm ET during premiere week. New episodes will stream Thursdays through Tuesdays thereafter.

I’m like is this a joke? Cos it’s not funny. Or entertaining. The casting is abysmal. It’s giving npc’s. They need desperate character development in their lives. I feel like I’m watching an unfunny parody of Love Island. Even the narrating feels so dumbed down. No surprise there tho.
