Erin krakow when calls the heart season 10

Hallmark’s “When Calls The Heart” Star Erin Krakow is ready for the 10th season to debut at the end of the month and we cannot wait!!

The Star recently sat down to talk to Entertainment Tonight about the upcoming rollercoaster season we’re about to endure.

She shared;

“I am very excited. I have such a memory of being on set in season 1 and wrapping up the season and we were talking as a cast about where we thought the show could go. And the fact that we are here celebrating the premiere of season 10, it’s remarkable. I am so grateful.

Season 10 is packed. We are truly leveling up the When Calls the Heart experience. We are bringing in lots of exciting guest stars. We’ve don’t know if they are good guys or bad guys. We have family visits, we have musical episodes — not a true musical episode, but there is music. There’s some singing. There’s a tourist destination — this hot springs in town. There’s a lot of romance. There’s a new baby. It’s a momentous season, as it should be in season 10.

There will be some jaw dropping. There will probably be a few moments of dropped jaws. There’s a bit of a life-or-death situation. Thankfully, no one perishes as a result of the life-or-death situation but it gets a little dicey for a second.”

Inspired by Janette Oke’s bestselling book series about the Canadian West, “When Calls the Heart” follows the story of a young schoolteacher and single mother, Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow), in the quaint town of Hope Valley. When her husband is suddenly killed on duty, she must find the courage and strength to move forward. With the help and guidance of the townspeople and her friends, she adjusts to the ever-changing times and the people that enter her life.

Other central characters include Rosemary Coulter (Pascale Hutton), Elizabeth’s best friend, the town’s loveable busybody once described as “part Broadway showgirl, part Frontier woman,” and her patient husband, the upstanding businessman Leland Coulter (Kavan Smith). Judge Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) works hard to protect the town and to cement his position as Hope Valley’s ultimate authority. Fairly new to the community are Mountie Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) and saloon owner Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally), who both vie for the attention of Elizabeth. With the added pressure on deciding between her suitors, writing a novel and taking care of her son, Elizabeth continues to teach the children of Hope Valley all while trying to navigate the challenges in her life.
