BET’s “Sistas” Season 6 is gearing up to debut this month and the series just also started production for the 7th season!!
The show is set to start production officially on May 22nd.
While the season isn’t here yet, there’s already a few updates out on Twitter via some loyal fans of the series.
Season 7 will also star brand new writers.
Years before the new writers were picked, Tyler stated:
“In the past, I had writers’ rooms, and the ratings tanked,” he said. “People know my voice. They know how I write. And have you ever thought for a minute, just one second, that I’m specific in what I’m doing? That I am telling the stories that the audience wants to see? Don’t worry about it. I got this. That’s why the show is number one.”

Sistas” Season 6 debuted May 31st with episode titled “Straight No Chaser”
Plot:
“Danni wallows in self-pity until an encounter with Preston threatens to send her off the deep end.”
According to the new preview, this may be the wildest season yet. While Andi continues to be the voice of reason to her friends, the same can’t be said about her relationship with Gary. Sabrina’s out of jail but not out of the law’s eyes just yet, and Fatima is helping Zac with his own legal issues trying to establish visitation rules with the mother of his child.
Meanwhile, Danni has begun spiraling but is unsure if she’ll be able to recover, and Karen’s problem only seems to have just gotten started.
