BET’s “Sistas” & “Zatima” Star Devale Ellis is sending love to one of his inspirations when it comes to acting this week and we’re here for the interaction!!
Devale has spoke many times about how his character Zac is heavily influenced by the iconic Martin Lawrence character on “Martin”.
He recently took to Instagram to share his love and support for Martin after receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
Devale shared:
“Congrats to one of my biggest inspirations. The man that does NOT get enough credit for his impact on the world of comedy by merging to iconic art forms (stand up & hip hop) and bringing it to a mainstream audience unapologetically.
It is no secret that I constantly pay homage to Marty Mar in the way I bring physical comedy to the role of Zac on SISTAS & Zatima. Martin is an icon, a genius and my GOAT. So happy to see you get this star sir. I’ll be there one day, and imma be posed just like this.

Plot:
