BET’s “Sistas” & “Zatima” Star Devale Ellis is becoming a movie star and we’re so proud of him!!
The star is currently in Canada filming “Meet Me Next Christmas” which also stars the beautiful Christina Milian.
Plot:
“Directed by Rusty Cundieff from a script by Molly Haldeman and Camilla Rubis, Meet Me Next Christmas follows the yuletide journey of Layla, a woman whose pursuit of a fairy-tale romance with the man of her dreams leads her on a race against time to secure tickets to New York City’s hottest gig: the sold out Pentatonix Christmas Eve Concert.”
Devale is also set to Star in “The Perfect Find” on Netflix which just recently got an official premiere date and photos!
The movie is set to premiere on June 23rd.
The Perfect Find is a highly-anticipated “old-school-style rom-com with a fresh perspective”. The movie is an adaptation of Tia Williams’ novel of the same name and stars Gabrielle Union as Jenna Jones and Keith Powers as Eric.
After losing both her high-profile job and long-time boyfriend in a messy and public way, Jenna (Union) is forced to move back to New York City in an attempt to revive her career. She lands a gig working for her frenemy, Darcy (Gina Torres), but also falls for her younger, charming coworker, Eric (Powers), who happens to be Darcy’s son. Jenna is then faced with the decision to risk it all on the secret romance and see if there can be a future with Eric despite their “generational divide.”
Devale is set to portray Dialo in the film.
