BET’s “Sistas” & “Zatima” Star Devale Ellis just celebrated a birthday while initially away from his family!
The star is currently filming a brand new movie alongside Christina Milian and the theme is Christmas.
“Meet Me Next Christmas” is set to debut this upcoming Christmas season
Devale took to Instagram to share that his family ditched their trip to celebrate with him in Canada!!
He shared:
“I really want to take this time to acknowledge how supportive my family really is. Kay Kay planned a whole Spring Break trip to the Bahamas for us to get away after the book and podcast tour but God blessed me with this amazing opportunity to do what I love.
I told Kay she should still take the kids to the Bahamas and send me pics everyday. She said the boys voted to come see Daddy instead and forfeit the 10 days in paradise to be at my apartment when I get in from filming every day for the whole week.
My baby packed up all 4 boys by herself and traveled to Canada just to see me off in the mornings and receive me at night for a few hours before I get to bed. Mind you, she has been tasked with entertaining them all day without reprieve and she’s loving every bit of it.😳🤷🏾♂️💪🏾 When I tell you teamwork makes the dream work, my family really takes it to heart.
