“Chicago PD” Season 10 Teases It’s 200th Episode

Chicago pd season 10

NBC’s “Chicago PD” is currently prepping for their 200th episode and we cannot believe the show has been on air for that long! Time is flying by so far!

The show is already airing it’s milestone 10th season and now airing it’s milestone 200th episode.

After being kidnapped and shot multiple times, coming about as close to death as she ever had in Season 8, Burgess is still in distress. She still hasn’t fully confronted her trauma, which is the focus of the 200th episode. First, a car backfiring caused a panic attack at home. Then, as Burgess and Ruzek boarded a busy subway car to find a shooter, she found herself once again immobilized in fear.

Marina Squerciati speaks about the upcoming episode with Entertainment Weekly;

“When it’s something big, they do give you a heads-up, so I’m not totally in the dark, but I got the script the night before. Without the words, you can’t really track the journey.”

Title: “Trapped”

Airing: February 22nd

“After a brutal shooting, Burgess and Ruzek find themselves trapped aboard the busy “L” subway; as they piece together scant evidence, the team is drawn into a dark family drama; Burgess’ proximity to the shooting triggers harsh memories.”

From Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf and the team behind “Chicago Fire” comes “Chicago P.D.,” a riveting police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s District 21 who put it all on the line to serve and protect their community. District 21 is made up of two distinctly different groups: the uniformed cops who patrol the beat and go head-to-head with the city’s street crimes and the Intelligence Unit that combats the city’s major offenses – organized crime, drug trafficking, high profile murders and beyond. The vast responsibilities that these jobs entail extend far beyond the walls of the precinct, often taking an emotional toll on personal lives of these men and women.

At the helm of the Intelligence Unit is Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), a man not against crossing legal and ethical lines to ensure the safety and security of the city he loves.
