The official Season 2 date and official extended trailer is finally here after BET’s airing of a small promo during an episode of “Sistas”!
The small promo was shared across social media after quickly being taken down. TVLINE broke the news for the official trailer.
Season 2 plot:
“Zac and Fatima’s relationship is challenged on a whole new level” in Season 2. “Zac deals with internal discord which is only exacerbated after seeing his mother, Gladys, whom he hasn’t seen in quite a long time. Fatima begins to question herself and if she’s really what Zac needs when she can’t get through to him about dealing with past issues.”

Season 2 of Zatima premieres Thursday, March 16 on BET+, with two new episodes dropping every Thursday. The season will have 20 episodes which is a huge increase from last season 10 episodes.

Tyler Perry’s Zatima follows popular characters Zac (Devale Ellis) and Fatima (Crystal Renee Hayslett) as they navigate the ups and downs of their relationship. The series marks the second spin-off from a Tyler Perry top-rated linear show to get greenlit by BET+ following The Oval‘s offshoot Ruthless.
