It was just announced that a follow-up movie based on Nickelodeon’s series Zoey 101 is in the works for premiere on Paramount+.
Zoey 102 (working title), a full-length original YA movie based on characters from the hit live-action series is now in production but everyone is not returning for the movie.
Actress Victoria Justice who portrayed Lola in the series will not return.
Jamie Lynn Spears is set to reprise her role as Zoey Brooks and will also take on the role of executive producer.
Other cast members also returning are Erin Sanders (Quinn Pensky), Sean Flynn (Chase Matthews), Matthew Underwood (Logan Reese), Christopher Massey (Michael Barret), Abby Wilde (Stacey Dillsen) and Jack Salvatore (Mark Del Figgalo).
Alexa Nikolas starred in the first two seasons of the series is not happy about the movie being in works.
She shared:
“Take note of people in this industry that do not advocate publicly nor privately to create safer environments by even simply supporting individuals close to them that have bravely come forward,” Nikolas tweeted. “Birds of a feather. Flock together.”
“Do NOT support a network that can’t even take accountability especially when it comes to CHILDREN,” she added. “That is beyond low.”
