The CW’s “The Winchesters” freshman season undoubtedly had one of the biggest debuts on TV during the fall and we’re happy that the stats are out about the show’s performance!
TVLINE recently shared the average demo ratings. for each series on The CW (including Live+7 DVR playback). Alongside that is the total audience for each program, as well as any noteworthy performance notes.
“The Winchesters” freshman season had the biggest DVR jump out of all new series on the channel.
This is huge and gives us hope that the show will be picked up for a 2nd season!
The series follows John Winchester, who is back from the Vietnam War and now wants to find out what actually happened to his dad, Henry Winchester. He runs into Mary Campbell one night and learns about the world of monsters and demons.When Mary explains her father is missing, John decides to help her and her friends find him. He doesn’t have to get into the fight, but he wants to. Plus, he thinks this could be the way to find out about his own father. However, his mom doesn’t want him delving into this. Is that because she knows the truth?
