BET’s “Sistas” & “Zatima” Star Devale Ellis has to be one of our favorite actors in the game right now and not only because of his acting chops but his transparency when it comes to his come up!!
Devale is very vocal about his wins and also his losses and how it took some time to build himself up to be the man he is today.
A TikTok video of Devale and his wife Khadeen is now going viral and the video is one of the saddest videos we’ve watched in a minute.
The story Devale spoke about was so sad that he even started crying again. He spoke about his experience in the NFL and how being away from Khadeen was a huge struggle for him. The actor spoke about depression and his addiction to pain meds. This is the most vulnerable we’ve seen Devale and we just earned a brand new respect for him as a father, actor, husband and just overall human.

So happy for Devale and proud of his strength to get through a moment like that. So happy for Khadeen and her kindness to pick someone else up. This is what you call a unit! We love these two and their wonderful family.
