Netflix’s “Heartstopper” is one of Netflix most popular recent projects and the project is very deserving of the title!!
But with popularity for the show, comes popularity for the cast!
The show has a very nice and positive fanbase but like with every show, you will always have your bunch of negative.
Kit Connor was a victim to the negative fans in the Heartstopper fanbase. He was recently forced to share his sexuality with the world.
He tweeted:
“Back for a minute. I’m bi,” Connor posted to his Twitter account, before calling out fans of the Netflix dramedy for making him feel like he had to come out, “congrats for forcing an 18 year old to out himself.”
Fans had reportedly begun to harass the young actor with their speculations about his sexuality accusing him of QueerBaiting. Connor ended his post by telling the fans off for their behavior towards him, adding, “ I think some of you missed the point of the show. Bye.”
Although Kit didn’t delete his Twitter at that very moment, he later deactivated and that’s good for him. The app is very toxic.
