Remember the “On My Block” spin-off? Yeah we kind of forgot it was as happening as well but luckily it’s still on the way and more news about the show is out now!
Netflix just recently added two series regulars to the Only My Block spin-off titled “Freeridge,” Tenzing Norgay Trainor (Liv & Maddie) joins the cast and “On My Block” star Peggy Blow appears in a new role. Per Variety
Named after the fictional Los Angeles neighborhood that “On My Block” takes place in, “Freeridge” follows a new crew of friends who may or may not have unleashed a deadly curse kicking off an unforgettable adventure.
Production on Season 1 of “Freeridge” is already complete. “On My Block” creators Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez and Jeremy Haft serve as co-creators and executive producer salong with Jamie Uyeshiro and Jamie Dooner. Iungerich also showruns. Previously announced series regulars include Keyla Monterroso Mejia (“Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Boo, Bitch”), Bryana Salaz (“Team Kaylie”) and Ciara Riley Wilson (“LA’s Finest,” “Kim Possible”).
