BET’s “Sistas” Spin-Off “Zatima” Season 1 was everything fans asked for in the storyline department but the season was only picked up for 10 episodes so by the time the finale ended, fans wanted more!
It’s now confirmed that Season 2 will have 20 episodes so we’re definitely going to get to know the characters more next time around.
Devale Ellis who plays Zac just shared that Season 2 will be a deeper season as Zac mother is included in the drama.
Devale shared:

We’re so excited to see what Tyler Perry does with the generational trauma storyline, there’s so many layers to a topic like that.
In Season 1, we kind of get a glimpse inside of Zac’s life when his brother showed up to his house. It’s clearly a toxic situation!
Season 2 date hasn’t been announced just yet but we’re hoping Tyler drops the season or at least the first half of the season during “Sistas” Season 5 mid-season break.

Zatima follows Zac (Devale Ellis) and Fatima (Crystal Renee Hayslett) as they “navigate the ups and downs of their relationship.” And if what we’ve seen on Sistas is any indication, there will be plenty of both.
Cameron Fuller plays Nathan, one of Zac’s basketball buddies whose wife Lori “keeps him in check at every turn and holds him accountable for his responsibilities”; Remington Hoffman plays Bryce, a new stock market friend of Zac’s who doesn’t realize that his girlfriend is Fatima’s BFF, Nzinga Imani plays Bryce’s girlfriend Angela, who eventually connects the dots and realizes that she has heard all about Zac’s shady activities.
Jasmin Brown as Zac’s tenant Deja, a nail technician slash stripper; Danielle LaRoach as Belinda, Fatima’s sometimes-too-honest friend; and Guyviaud Joseph as Tony, a commitment-averse friend of Zac’s who encourages his bad behavior.
