After 10 seasons of playing Detective Jay Halstead, Jesse Lee Soffer is set to depart the show during the beginning half of the season upcoming season!
According to Variety, Soffer will be departing the series this fall which means we’re going to say goodbye to Halstead just before the winter break.
We don’t know if they’re just going to send his out a nice way or 100% choose death for Halstead. This is going to be one of the biggest moments of the upcoming and especially because fans are very upset about the decision to write Jesse’s character out.
Fans recently started a petition to get Jesse back on the show.
