“The Golden Bachelor” Season 2 Star Mel Receives Comment From “Selling Sunset” Star Chrishell

Golden bachelor season 2 Mel

Netflix’s “Selling Sunset” Star Chrishell is a huge fan of the Bachelor Nation franchise and she cannot wait for Golden Bachelor Season 2.

After hearing a recent comment from leading man Mel Owens, she’s not too happy.

Mel recently stated that the show shouldn’t cast women over 60 years old.

Chrishell responded:

“We love the Golden Bachelor because of how wholesome it is,” Chrishell said on her Instagram Stories June 26. “This type of energy will ruin it.”

The 43-year-old added Bishop Bullwinkle’s song “Hell to Da Naw Naw Naw” to her post to really hammer her message home.

E! News has reached out to ABC for comment but hasn’t heard back.

Chrishell’s statement came after Mel, 66, explained that he told producers that when producers asked him what ages he wanted his suitors to be on The Golden Bachelor, he said, “45 to 60, just being honest.”

“‘If they’re 60 or over, I’m cutting them,'” the NFL alum recounted telling one producer on the June 4 episode of MGoBlue Podcasts With Jon Jansen. “’This is not The Silver Bachelor, this is The Golden Bachelor.'”

Ouch! What are your thoughts?
