ABC’s “Abbott Elementary” Season 3 just officially debuted its trailer and we’re so excited for the return!!
Ahead of the premiere, the network just announced 3 brand new characters.

“Season 3 will bring three new characters portrayed by Josh Segarra (The Big Door Prize), Kimia Behpoornia (Hacks) and Benjamin Norris (Never Have I Ever) in recurring roles.
Segarra will portray Manny, Behpoornia will portray Emily and Norris will portray Simon. The trio are the good-natured Philadelphia school district representatives who aim to bring fresh perspectives to their roles as school ambassadors.
The ABC hit comedy returns with two new episodes for premiere on February 7. The series picks up mid-school year and will consist of 14 episodes, following last year’s dual WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.”
Abbott Elementary stars series creator Quinta Brunson, as well as Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Chris Perfetti, Lisa Ann Walter, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and William Stanford Davis. The story follows a group of dedicated, passionate teachers (as well as a slightly tone-deaf principal) as they navigate the Philadelphia public school system. Despite the odds stacked against them, the staff at Willard R. Abbott Public School is determined to help their students succeed in life. Though these public servants may be outnumbered and underfunded, they love what they do — even if they don’t love the school district’s less-than-stellar attitude toward educating children. The teachers include Janine Teagues (Brunson), Gregory Eddie (Williams), Melissa Schemmenti (Walter), Jacob Hill (Perfetti), and Barbara Howard (Ralph). Ava Coleman (James) is the school’s inept principal, and Mr. Johnson (Davis) is the eccentric janitor.
