ABC’s “The Golden Bachelor” Stars Gerry & Theresa is just one week away from tying the knot and it looks like there’s a little drama going on behind the scenes!
There’s rumors that Theresa might want to get a prenup after taking advice from friends and there’s also rumors that Gerry isn’t happy about it.
Theresa’s friends are warning the financial services professional to cover her assets.
“Theresa’s friends are stressing the importance of having a prenup,” a source told Life & Style. “He’s been caught lying, and people are telling Theresa to think twice.”
Now Gerry’s having to explain himself, and Theresa is questioning everything he’s ever said,” the source disclosed.

Ranging in age from 60 to 75, these accomplished golden ladies will take time away from their established home lives, friends and family, in the quest to rediscover love – and perhaps even themselves – in the process, when “The Golden Bachelor” premieres THURSDAY, SEPT. 28 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EDT), on ABC. A retired restaurateur and doting father and grandfather, Gerry [GAIR-ee] Turner lives in his dream house on a beautiful lake in Indiana. He’s often busy hosting barbeques, playing pickleball, cheering on his favorite Chicago sports teams, four-wheeling and spending time with friends and family at restaurants and local haunts.
Always a romantic, Gerry married his high school sweetheart Toni in 1974, and together, they lived a full and happy life with their two daughters, Angie and Jenny, and later two granddaughters, Charlee and Payton. Sadly, after 43 years together, Toni suddenly fell ill and passed away in 2017.
Six years after Toni’s passing and with the support of his family, Gerry is ready to put himself out there and find a love that will stand the test of time in his golden years.
After more than 20 years of fostering love on “The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise,” “The Golden Bachelor” showcases a whole new kind of love story – one for the golden years. The season finale of ABC’s “The Golden Bachelor” scored new series highs in both Total Viewers (7.13 million) and Adults 18-49 (0.98 rating) in the National Live+7 day numbers. In fact, “The Golden Bachelor” delivered the largest audience (7.13 million) for any series in “The Bachelor” franchise (i.e., “The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette,” “Bachelor in Paradise”) since March 2020 and the franchise’s highest-rated telecast since September 2022 in Adults 18-49 (0.98 rating) – since 3/10/20 and 9/20/22, respectively.
“The Golden Bachelor” built over the prior week by 11% in Total Viewers (7.13 million vs. 6.44 million), posting six consecutive weeks of growth and delivering its biggest week-to-week increase.
After seven days of viewing on linear and streaming platforms, ABC’s “The Golden Bachelor” season finale jumped to 9.42 million Total Viewers, also marking the most-watched multiplatform telecast for any series in “The Bachelor” franchise since March 2020 – since 3/10/20. In addition, “The Golden Bachelor” soared +159% over its initial Live+Same Day rating with Adults 18-49 to hit a 2.07 rating after just seven days of multiplatform viewing.
