Peacock’s “Love Island USA” will officially return to our screens for brand new seasons next summer and the summer after!!
The hit #1 reality series was renewed for a 6th and 7th season.
“I would imagine that there will be things next year that you will see, which will surprise you, much like there were this year, as we try out a bunch of new stuff and maybe some of it sticks and some of it doesn’t, but we’ll see.” – executive producer Simon Thomas
The renewal also comes ahead of the finale Monday of the franchise’s first-ever spinoff, Love Island Games, which brought fan-favorite Islanders from the U.K., U.S., Australia and beyond for a second chance at love. We’re truly hoping that they renew that version as well because it seems to be 10x more entertaining than the original show!
LOVE ISLAND USA features a new group of singles on a search for love in a beautiful villa. Throughout their stay in a tropical oasis, Islanders will couple up to face brand new heart-racing challenges and bigger twists and turns than ever before. Temptations will rise and drama will ensue as new “bombshells” arrive throughout the season, forcing Islanders to decide if they want to remain with their current partners or recouple with someone new. Islanders will also be at the mercy of viewers at home who will vote to determine who gets another shot at love and who leaves the villa heartbroken and empty-handed. Actress Sarah Hyland (Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin) is the host alongside UK comedian Iain Stirling who reprises his role as narrator. Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix made her LOVE ISLAND USA debut last season by surprising Islanders with a special guest appearance during the series’ second week.
Love Island USA is produced by ITV Entertainment. Thomas, David George, Adam Sher, Ben Thursby-Palmer, Andy Cadman, Iona Mackenzie, Sophie Bush and Claudine Parrish served as executive producers for season five, alongside Tom Gould, Richard Cowles, Mike Spencer, Richard Foster and Chet Fenster.
